Mughalsarai is a city located in Chandauli district in Uttar Pradesh situated in North India. The city is located 10kms from Varanasi and known to be one of the major railway junctions of Indian Railways.The total population of the city is 116,246 as per 2001 census and city is situated at an average elevation of 216 feet above the sea level.
