Shirdi (Manmad) is located in Ahmednagar district located in Maharastra in the western part of India.Shirdi is a religious pilgrimage and is famous for Sai Baba temple, which is one of the popular shrine of Hindus in India. The temple is located in the center point of the city and is considered to be the shrine, which is built over the Samadhi of Sai Baba.

The temple opens at 5:15 am in the morning for devotees who keeps on standing in the queue from the early morning from 3:00 am onwards, with Kakad Aarti and continued to be open till the end of Shejarti.Thursday is the main day on which Sai Baba is worshipped .The Sai Palki Yatra is conducted within the city.

By Road

There are many buses, which ply from different cities of Maharastra and its adjoining states for Shirdi.Time taken by these buses depends on the distance between the Shirdi and the particular area.

By Rail

The nearest railway station is considered to be Manwad and Kopargaon.There are many direct trains from different parts of India and Maharastra itself. These both stations are connected with broad gauge railway line.

By Air

There are three airports, which are domestic and international and are connected through airways with all parts of the world as well as all the major cities of India.There are many flights, domestic or international which serve these airports on regular basis.
