Trains From Hyderabad

Hyderabad is the capital city of Andhra Pradesh, which is located in southern part of the country, on the banks of river Musi at the Deccan plateau. The two cities in Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad and Secunderabad are considered to be the twin cities, but after getting flourished, being a traditional city of medieval period, it is considered to be the one big city now-a-days.

Being a city of medieval world, which is full of traditional history and culture, Hyderabad now competes with IT city Bangalore and Chennai, as it is crowned with the Microsoft, Google and oracle headquarters in their city itself. Hyderabad is now known with names of the City of Pearls , the City of Nawabs and the Biryani city and because of the involvement of hi-technology in the city ,it is also known as Cyberabad.

Climate

Hyderabad, the capital city of Andhra Pradesh has a tropical climate like many other cities of India .It is always advisable to visit Hyderabad from Mid-November to mid-February Temperature of the city is mild with abundant sunshine at this time. By plane

Hyderabad has a newly released airport known as Rajiv Gandhi international airport, which is located at Shamshabad, 35 kms distant from the old airport Begumpet, which is closed nowadays. The newly designed airport has best facility provided for aviation in India and its relief is compared with the chaos of traditional airports present in other major cities of India.

By Rail

Indian Railways provides the service of trains from various parts of India to Hyderabad. There are three major stations for railway, which provides railway service to twin cities: Secunderabad, Nampally, which is known as Hyderabad Deccan and Kachegud.Secunderabad provides a largest railway network in southern India and has a broad guage railway line with metropolitan cities of India.

By Bus

Hyderabad is very well established roadways with all the major cities and towns of Andhra Pradesh with some parts of South and western India. Hyderabad has a largest bus station in the world and APSRTC holds the record of acquiring the large number of buses for a particular state in the world.

There are numerous ways to travel around in Hyderabad as it has good service of city buses,auto rickshaws and taxi service and local train service.

By Bus

Hyderabad is proud to be provided with efficient city buses which are run by corporation buses,which are run by state government.There are many buses which start from secunderabad railway station and terminates there itself.Most buses start and terminate from Secunderabad Railway station.There are many other deluxe or semi-deluxe buses,other than state local buses governed by APSRTC. Hi-tech buses are also available to travel within the city limit.

By Autorickshaw

Auto rickshaws in Hyderabad should be metered, though it can be difficult for non-locals to find an autorickshaw driver who agrees to a metered fare. Autos can carry a maximum of 3 passengers excluding the driver, but it is common to find them being overloaded to carry up to six passengers. . The minimum fare is Rs 10.00. There are also shared 8 seater Maxi Vans available in selected areas. Fares are mostly 2 rupees more than bus fares, but are far more comfortable and fast.
