The Ayodhya railway station is only 7 km east of this city station whereas the major railway station is at Barabanki. Commuters for boarding trains to Indian metro cities can reach Barabanki for this service.

The nearest airports to Faizabad are Lucknow (128 km) and Varanasi (200 km). The commuters and visiting travelers can get into any of these airports to board either a domestic or international scheduled flights.
